SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
System Requirements
Windows
- → Operating System - Microsoft Windows 10 / Windows 11
- → GPU Memory - A minimum of 4GB GPU memory, 8GB+ is recommended
- → GPU Drivers - The most recent Nvidia, AMD, or Intel drivers are recommended. TouchDesigner requires a GPU and drivers that support Vulkan 1.1
- → Nvidia GPUs - Geforce 1000-series or better, Quadro/RTX Pascal series or better. Requires Driver 530.00 or newer, 581.00 or later recommended
- → AMD GPUs - Radeon 5000 series or better (RDNA architecture GPUs)
- → Intel GPUs - 500 and newer GPUs (not the 5000, 6000 series)
Apple Mac
- → Operating System - Apple macOS 13 (Ventura) and up
- → Hardware - Mac Pro / iMac / Mac Mini / MacBook Pro / MacBook Air 2020+. Your Mac must support macOS 13 or higher, but we recommend running the latest macOS
- → Apple Silicon - We highly recommend a Mac with Apple Silicon for TouchDesigner. For Intel-based Macs we recommend a model with a discrete AMD GPU
INSTALLATION STEPS
Installation Steps
- → Subscribe at popx.tools and download the POPX.tox package from your account.
- → Open your TouchDesigner project.
- → Drag the POPX.tox file directly into your network.
- → Your project may freeze momentarily while the system initializes - this is normal.
- → Once loaded, the POPX component will appear at the root level of your project.
- → Press Tab to open the OP Create Dialog - you’ll now see the new POPX Operators Family available for use.
PARAMETER HELP
Parameter Help
Each POPX operator includes comprehensive help descriptions for all parameters. To view parameter help in TouchDesigner:
- → Hold Alt (Windows/Linux) or Option (macOS)
- → Hover your mouse over any parameter in the parameter UI
- → A tooltip will appear with a detailed description of that parameter
